Jyagdi Eco Trekking is a new concept for trekkers who wish to walk away from the beaten paths.
The organisation intends to develop the local economy through an ecologically conscious tour for people who wish to discover Nepal in a more interesting way.
The trek is an 8 day trip around the hills and valleys of the Syangja district (30 Km south-east of Pokhara) and is organised around 3 principles:

- The exclusive discovering of a Nepalese culture - you will stay in the homes of local people, giving you a unique insight into their way of life.

- A looped circuit that helps to keep you aware of your position in an often intimidating environment.

- Lovely food thanks to our qualified staff that will provide with great meals made from organic local produce and recipes.

You will climb 3 peaks with an altitude of 1000-2500 m. Nevertheless the trekking is easy it has panoramic views of one of the planets greatest landscapes. On a clear day in Purkot (the highest point in the trek) you can even see Kathmandu! (250 Km away).

3,5,8 day trekking
You feel as though you could touch the Dhaulagiri, Macchapucchare (Fish Tail) and the Annapurna Ranges as you look over Rampur valley-crossed by Kali Gandaki river-, enjoying the magic of a culture living in terraced farmland thousands of years old, creating magnificent patchwork designs on the hillside.
Then maybe take a chance to have a swim or just relax in nearby rivers or waterfalls.

Breaks are scheduled in the cool shade of Banyan and Pupple trees, the holy trees are often at least 200 years old, and according to those who live and work in the mountains, are the best place to enjoy the great views. There you can even play the “bacchal”, a Nepalese chess game designed on stones.

welcome !!
